A's & Aces Director of Tennis, Louisiana Delta Service Corps Member

Coach Gunther joined A's & Aces as Director of Tennis through the Louisiana Delta Service Corps program. Coach Greg is a USPTR certified tennis instructor, USTA Southern Tournament Director, certified racquet stringer, and a member of the Wilson Pro Advisory Staff. Prior to joining A's & Aces, Coach Greg worked as the Assistant Head Tennis Pro at Aurora Tennis and Swim Club in New Orleans. As a former college tennis player (Spring Hill, AL), Coach Greg serves as a great role model for leading A's & Aces tennis instruction.

"Giving a child that has little in the world a belief in their own ability to conquer a task is to give them all they
will need to live a good life. You can see it in their eyes, you can feel it in the bond you build," says Coach Gunther.

Americorps is a national program that places over 75,000 people annually into intensive service. Louisiana Delta Service Corps places 55 members in public schools, non-profits, grassroots, faith-based and community organizations to provide direct service and build capacity in those organizations, working to create positive change throughout the delta through service in Baton Rouge and New Orleans.
