ABOUT US
Coach Green received a M.A. degree in Counseling from Xavier University. Since 2002 he has been the Head Coach for the Men’s and Women’s Tennis Teams at Xavier. Since Coach Green took over the teams, both the Gold Rush and the Gold Nuggets has qualified for the NAIA Region XIII Tournament every year. Coach Green brought the teams to their highest national ranking ever and in 2007 became the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC) Coach of the Year. His men have a four-year record of 62-53 in dual matches and won two GCAC championships. The women's team reached the second round of the 2008 NAIA National Championship.
Coach Green was a standout player at Xavier. He and his wife, Brandy, have two daughters.
Mr. Lindsley is a retired social worker. He served as a Director of JFCS Group Home for Boys in Baltimore, a Director of Medicaid Rehab Program, Friendship Club/NAMI, and a Director of Crises Services/Medicaid Rehab inJefferson Parish. He is co-founder and past President of Degas Pastel Society and serves on the Advisory Board of Alliance for Affordable Energy.
Mr. Lindsley is a free-lance artist.
Mr. Walker is a former student-athlete and a senior at Xavier University.
Matt serves on the A's & Aces Youth Advisory Board.
Mr. Kempele is a former student-athlete and a senior at Xavier University.
Vusi serves on the A's & Aces Youth Advisory Board.
Mr. Gonzalez is a graduate student at Louisiana State University.
Baton Rouge, LA native, Alexcia Plummer is a senior at Loyola University New Orleans, majoring in Music Industry Studies with a Concentration in Vocal Performance. Alexcia has an extensive background in community service, working with children from low economic backgrounds. In the words of Marian Edelman, “service is what life is all about,” Alexcia’s passion lies in the heart of children, wanting equal opportunity and success for all. “I realize that today’s children are tomorrow’s future. I decided it is up to us, me, to be involved in shaping the lives of children who are in desperate need of a positive direction, by giving my time, acting as a mentor and a positive role model.”
Alexcia serves on the A's & Aces Youth Advisory Board.
Henry Crocker is a USPTA certified tennis professional and a member of the USTA. Mr. Crocker is a former director of tennis at Metairie Country Club. He has worked in sales, marketing, public relations, and management for the last 15 years. Mr. Crocker’s passion for tennis has him back involved teaching lessons at City Park.
He and his wife, Stephanie Sarrat, M.D., have three children who are actively involved in tennis.
