After-School Programs

HIGH-PERFORMANCE PATHWAY TO COLLEGE PROGRAM

2021-22 After-School TOURNAMENT TRAINING and Excellence Team Programs:

Due to high-demand and finite resources, all after-school programs are by invitation only to Tournament Training participants, and limited to highly interested children with parents who are committed to ensuring regular, year-round attendance.  Priority is given to A's & Aces Tournament Training participants who have been training regularly (in our Saturday clinics and summer Tournament Training Camp).

Yellow & Orange Ball  Clinics:  4:30-7:00, Monday - Thursday at Joe Brown Tennis Center

This high-performance after-school program is designed for our most advanced Tournament Training players (ages 9+), and includes members of our Excellence TRAVEL Team, Excellence Team PROGRAM and Excellence Team WATCH student-athletes who attend regularly and demonstrate high interest  in tennis and behavior, and commit to giving their best effort in the classroom and on the courts while training for and competing in a minimum number of tournaments annually.

Curricula: Participants spend time primarily on the tennis court. However, if a student-athlete's most recent report card contains a grade less than a B in any subject, then tutoring  in the classroom will be required until a subsequent report card remedies this status. During inclement weather, activities may also include each participant working on their USTA Player Development Journal, strength and conditioning activities, "chalk-talk" coaching on topics such as strategies and tactics, nutrition and health, sportsmanship, teamwork, conflict resolution, among many others, and/or homework.
