Volunteers
Volunteers serve in various capacities:
- Direct service with the children - for example, as classroom tutors, guest readers, tennis coaches and/or tournament court monitors.
- Administrative assistance - for example, helping with tournaments and other programming events, or using special skills (fundraising, photography, etc.)
Our Volunteers Provide Invaluable Impact
Thanks to our committed volunteers, A's & Aces is able to provide the lower teacher-student ratios that make an important difference in children's lives. Many studies show positive effects attributable to reduced class size. Teachers can give students more individualized instruction in smaller classrooms and on the courts. One-on-one tutoring, both in-person and online, is part of our academic opportunities. |
