programmatic model: Points-of-ENTRY ---> SPOKES ---> HUB
A's & Aces strives to provide every interested child ages 6-9 years with an opportunity to try the sport of tennis. Our “Pathway Pyramid” features broad outreach and exposure at the bottom through 'point-of-entry' programs such as summer camps, Saturday clinics, and in-school programming. Our Pathway Program in the middle provides committed student-athletes with year-round opportunities, including after-school, Saturday and summer/holiday camps. The smallest group at the top, our Excellence Team, includes the most committed and determined student-athletes, striving to be the best they can be both on and off the court.

Continuing "Hub" Programs:
Our goal is to provide a Pathway to College for as many fully committed student-athletes as possible by enabling them to come from all areas of the city to a "hub" tennis and learning center where they can train together to pursue their goals. As we continue to pursue a permanent "home" for A's & Aces (a centrally located "hub" Youth Tennis & Learning Center), opportunities exist for highly motivated participants to continue in the program through Tournament Training programs at different sites: Saturday clinics, school break camps, and tournaments are primarily held at Joe Brown Park. Dillard University has hosted our after-school tutoring in their classrooms and and tennis training on their 6 courts. Summer camps have been held at the NORD Joe Brown and Atkinson-Stern Tennis Centers for 6-9 yr old children, and at Dillard University for committed year-round Tournament Training student-athletes.
